ARIZONA TAX CREDIT

What is the Arizona School Tax Credit program?
Tax credit contributions support arts and after-school activities, including sports and tutoring. When you contribute to a tax credit program at a TUSD school before Dec. 31, your State tax liability will be reduced by the amount you contribute.
In other words, you get your money back, dollar-for-dollar, in the form of a tax reduction.

How much can I contribute?

  • Any amount will help: $5, $10, $20 etc…
  • Single individuals (or married, filing separately) can receive a credit of up to $200.
  • Married couples filing a joint return can receive a credit of up to $400.
Why should I give money to a school?
With limited school funding, students do not always have the opportunity to participate in a wide variety of extracurricular activities. School tax credit contributions can provide SECRIST students with opportunities such as after-school programs, tutoring, arts and music education, and after-school sports. Simply put, tax credit contributions make possible a wide variety of learning opportunities that our students might not otherwise have.
Send your tax credit and help support our school. Here’s how…
Mail or deliver this form with your check payable to Secrist Middle School by Dec. 31. You may also sign up via web at www.tusd1.org or call 520-731-5300
